Mina Nanny
A nanny is a little bit parent,
a little bit teacher,
and
a little bit best friend
"It is the time you have spent on your rose that makes your rose so important."
- The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery
The Little Prince's rose is unique and more important to him than all other roses because he cares for it and takes responsibility for it.
In my bouquet of roses, each rose is named after the child I cared for and each child is forever in my heart: Rory, Alex, Zack, Alana, Zach, Leo, Samuel, Eduardo, Emil, Marko, Kian, Grayson, Juliet, Talulah, Jonah, Daniel, Frankie, Livia, Sasha, Mika, Zara, Autumn, Hazel, Franco, Isabela, Rachael, Gwen, Ruby, Billy, Carissa, ...
Mina Nanny - Your Local Neighbourhood Nanny
Managing time and responsibilities as parents is challenging. Finding someone experienced who you would feel confident leaving your child with is not easy. Between numerous kindergartens with long waitlists and child care agencies with frequently changing nannies, it may seem almost impossible to find someone trustworthy, reliable, with a flexible schedule, practical approach, to help your family and make life a little bit easier.
Whether you just had your baby and need postpartum assistance, need someone to keep your toddler busy while you work from home or need someone to pick up your child from school, my priority is to make your family's life easier.
I appreciate the trust you, as parents, put in me to be the one to care for your kids. I do my best so you can go about your day worry-free, knowing that your little ones are happy and cared for.
I am fortunate that life gave me a chance to work with children. Dear kids and parents I have realized there are no strangers in here, just friends I haven’t met. All of the families I worked with, impacted my life, made me who I am now, and I thank you for that.

"Love children especially, for they too are sinless like the angels, they live to soften and purify our hearts and, as it were, to guide us."
- Fyodor Dostoevsky
Who am I?
I am university-educated woman from Europe. My native language is Serbian. I am a mom and a wife. I have always loved being around kids. For as long as I can remember I have loved to teach and take care of children. I simply love children and find them fascinating. At one point in my life I found refuge in their innocence, their uncanny ability to give you hope when you need it and warm welcome coloured with their smiles. I'm often amazed and amused that my life and work is now all about babies and toddlers.
Where am I located?
I live close to the intersection of Bloor Street and High Park Avenue. My postal code is M6P. I usually work with families living in the neighbourhoods close to me. These include: High Park North, Bloor West Village, Swansea, Runnymede, Junction, West Bend, Roncesvalles, Baby Point, Lambton, Kingsway, Chestnut Hills.

What do I like?
Reading - I always carry a book with me, even if I know I won't read it. Just in case.
Gardening - Growing a plant is like caring for a small baby. It teaches us the true principle of love and care.
Photography - It allows me to freeze a moment in time within an image, that can be enjoyed forever.
"When I approach a child, he inspires in me two sentiments; tenderness for what he is, and respect for what he may become."
- Louis Pasteur
I helped many families, took care of their children, and made friends and memories for a lifetime.
